Habit Tracker

Procrastination Emergency Kit:
Habit Tracker

The aim of the Procrastination Emergency Kit is to replace the bad habit of procrastination with the good habit of being in action.

You don’t need to be highly motivated to be able to do this. Even the laziest students can train themselves to be in action. This is the beauty of habits.

When you become an action taker you replace:

  • Late nights with restorative sleep
  • Scattered mind with clarity
  • Reactive mindset with proactive mindset
  • Distraction with focus
  • Fatigue and exhaustion with energy and vitality
  • Overwhelm and stress with peace and calm

What are habits?

Habits are behaviours you’ve performed so many times that you do them without even thinking.
Habits save your precious brainpower for the things that are most important to you.
"Your habits matter because they help you become the type of person you wish to be. They are the channel through which you develop your deepest beliefs about yourself. Quite literally, you become your habits."
James Clear
Author of Atomic Habits

Colour code habit tracker
Optional: Colour-Coding Your Habit Tracker

You may wish to use one colour if the strategy worked for you (i.e. it helped you break the tendency to procrastinate), another colour if the strategy didn’t work and perhaps another colour if you really liked the strategy (coding it as a super strategy).

It doesn’t matter what you do. Just keep your colour-coding system simple!

What’s the point of colour-coding?

At the end of the month you can glance at your Habit Tracker and pinpoint the strategies that work well for you.

You want to keep using those strategies because those are the ones that deliver results!
